Warner Financial Select, LLC (WFS)
WFS provides global financial market research to professional and institutional investors. For nearly 30 years its founder and managing principal, Seth C. Warner, provided independent money management services and original research on financial markets from Warner Prince, Inc. through the weekly faxed "Momentummaster System" service.
In 1978 this service began covering all major global currency, equity, fixed income and commodity markets with buy/sell recommendations. Warner Financial Select's monthly global markets e-publication "Before the New$" is the offspring of that work.
Seth Warner
Seth earned his BA degree at Hamilton College. He served as a 1st Lieutenant and Hawk anti-aircraft missile Battery Commander in the United States Marine Corps.
Before forming WFS, Seth had a wide range of positions and experience in finance. He served as a management trainee and trust representative with Connecticut Bank and Trust Company; account executive with Merrill Lynch; securities analyst, institutional salesman and general partner of the NYSE member firm Conning & Company; international financial markets analyst and founder of Warner Prince, Incorporated; and CTA and CPO with 111 Main Street Management, Ltd.
Driven by entrepreneurial, truth seeking spirit and empirical evidence Seth started one of America's first internationally invested funds (First Ticonderoga Partners) custodied in Zürich Switzerland and in the mid 1990s created and managed a multi-manager hedge fund (The Darwin Fund, Ltd) for one of Connecticut's most successful industrialists.
Between 1974 and 2006 he was a fellow of the Financial Analysts Federation and a member of its progeny, the CFA Institute.
In 2003 Seth closed Warner Prince, Inc and took some time away from the securities markets. In 2004, however, at the urging of past clients, he started Warner Financial Select, LLC to best put his experience and abilities to work in the marketplace. Today he produces “Before The New$”, consults to several hedge funds and brings SPYmaster to you on the internet.
